
To operate, and maintain reliable, continuous supplemental and emergency backup communications in support of the Pinal County area emergency needs
Vision Statement
The Pinal County Emergency Communications Group exists to serve the citizens of Pinal County by establishing and training a communications corps to assist served agencies when needed and when called. This corps of emergency communicators are unpaid volunteers, in the spirit of service and duty to the nation, dedicated to the safety and welfare of the community we serve. Our vision for the future is that of continuous training to improve our skills, and improvement of the amateur EMCOMM function within the county
Goals
To provide emergency communications as needed and as requested in the event of a disaster
To maintain readiness to provide communications in the event of a failure of emergency communications systems
To support emergency services in gathering information about potential hazards to life and property
To support emergency services in disseminating information to the public
To improve skills, knowledge, and abilities of PCECG members through training, seminars, and information
To provide communications services for special events such as parades, foot or bicycle races, etc., whenever appropriate for the purpose of training and enhancement of communications skills of its members
